Background

In this role, I supported animation and development teams by coordinating projects, organizing documentation, and contributing to pre-visualization workflows. I created motion graphics and visual assets in Adobe After Effects to strengthen storytelling across TV and digital media projects. I also developed professional pitch decks and presentations in Figma and Photoshop for both internal use and external funding proposals. Alongside this, I assisted with communication across departments, managed meeting notes and social media assets, and helped maintain workflow organization using project-tracking tools.

Motion Graphics

I created a one-minute motion graphic as the opening for a three-episode pitch, incorporating illustrations, pacing, media, and overall visual flow using After Effects. The piece went through multiple rounds of critique and iteration, allowing me to refine the timing, clarity, and emotional rhythm of the sequence. Using motion to guide the viewer through the opening, I focused on building a engaging, rythmic, and fun introduction that set the tone for the project.

Storyboard and Layout

I contributed storyboards for an undisclosed project, and it was rewarding to see my anatomy, perspective, and composition skills grow with each version. Throughout the process, I had to iterate and re-draw shots that were not sufficient though critique. These storyboards helped shape the film’s pacing and provided clear references for layout. I also supported the team by posing key moments in Maya Autodesk based on the boards, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to 3D.

Conclusion

Overall, this experience taught me how to work fluidly between creative and production tasks while staying adaptable through constant feedback. One of my biggest challenges was learning to shift from school work to professional expectations, but that transition helped me grow quickly. I became more confident in visual storytelling, collaboration, and iteration, and I learned how thoughtful organization and communication can strengthen the entire pipeline. It was a role that pushed my skills in both artistry and workflow, and it helped me understand how each part of the process contributes to a cohesive final project.
